Much of the buzz at Intergeo was a result of LiDAR and UAV-related developments. Leica Geosystems introduced their new P20 Scanner. Trimble showcased the TX5 scanner and SCENE software, fruits of the FARO OEM relationship we've covered on the blog. Optech and Riegl also made headlines.
The current edition of LiDAR Magazine was well received at both Intergeo and GEOINT - very encouraging. Our team caught up with friends and colleagues at both shows. I'm already looking forward to next year's events. Prior to then, you can catch up with us at the MAPPS/ASPRS specialty conference in Tampa (next week), or Trimble Dimensions in Las Vegas (week after next).
Remember you can choose to receive either a digital or hard copy of the Magazine on the website and encourage your colleagues to sign up for this newsletter HERE. We thank you for ongoing support in building this professional community.

Historical Facade Analysis - Alternative Workflows: Paul Tice – In the world of historic preservation the utilization of the latest software and hardware isn't exactly shunned, but it is not widely adopted either. There are numerous reasons for this, I'm sure. I could even venture to say that I know a few of them. A popular 'certainty' that some have is the perceivably incredible ...
