Hello Amerisurv user... I hope this newsletter finds you well! Our April/May edition is packed with more great content, all of which can be reached below. Of particular note is a new feature we're starting called The Wow Factor. Since the late 1970s electronic surveying technology has always fascinated and challenged me. Not only did it enable our crews to perform faster, better quality work, it always appealed to me as being more fun.
At the annual Virginia show, I attended a reception hosted by Loyola Spatial Systems where they showed a new web app they had developed. The app uses Google Maps to show where GPS rovers are working. My first thought was, "Wow, that's cool." Since most of the work we do is routine, more fun is good, yes? You can read more about it below, both in my editorial and in the actual Wow Factor article.
